EVO Swim
Evo Swim is proud to offer one of Qatar’s most respected swimming programmes, founded in 2012 by former Doha College student and two-time Olympian Nada Arakji. Our programme provides top-quality training and development in a welcoming, family-friendly environment for swimmers of all ages and abilities. Combining a professional yet fun approach, we focus on both mental and physical growth, shaping well-rounded swimmers. Guided by our motto, “Develop the person, before the athlete,” we instill core values that prepare swimmers for success in all aspects of life.
At Evo Swim, we provide a structured swimmer development pathway designed to nurture talent, enhance technique, and build confidence at every level. Our coaching programmes cater to all abilities, from beginners learning essential water safety and stroke fundamentals to competitive swimmers refining their technique and race strategies.
Through expert-led training, competitive opportunities, and a strong emphasis on technical, physical, and psychological development, we create an environment where swimmers can improve, compete, and excel. Our holistic approach ensures that every athlete receives the guidance and support they need to reach their full potential in and out of the pool.
Swim Aquatics: Progression Without Pressure
Swim Aquatics is designed for teen swimmers who have completed Learn to Swim but prefer to continue developing their technique, endurance, and speed outside of a competitive academy setting. These sessions offer a structured yet relaxed environment, allowing swimmers to stay active and refine their skills while enjoying the water.
For older beginners aged 10+, our Older Learn to Swim programme provides a welcoming space for those new to swimming or progressing through the Learn to Swim framework. These twice-weekly sessions follow the same structured curriculum but are tailored to older swimmers, ensuring they build confidence, technique, and water awareness alongside peers of a similar age in a comfortable and supportive setting.
At Evo Swim, our Performance Clock provides a structured way to track swimmer development across technique, endurance, speed, and race readiness.
Key focus areas include:
-Stroke efficiency and race technique
-Starts, turns, and finishes
-Endurance, speed, and conditioning
-Tactical awareness and competition preparation
Regular assessments help tailor training to each swimmer’s growth, ability, and goals, ensuring continuous improvement. This approach gives swimmers and parents clear insights into progress, supporting long-term development and success in the pool.
The Evo Swim Meets Programme provides swimmers with regular competitive experiences tailored to their stage of development. Through local and in-house competitions, swimmers have the opportunity to test their skills, track their progress, and challenge themselves against a variety of opponents.
Following a structured and progressive model, our competition programme helps swimmers develop resilience, adaptability, and race strategy. By experiencing different racing environments, they build confidence, improve tactical awareness, and learn to perform under pressure.
Evo Swim provides athletes with opportunities to travel across the Gulf region and beyond to compete in high-level swim meets and competitions. These experiences expose swimmers to different racing conditions, competitive challenges, and diverse aquatic environments, helping them develop as athletes.
By competing against top swim clubs in the Middle East and Europe, swimmers gain valuable race experience, learn to perform under pressure, and refine their skills in a professional setting. These competitions are an essential part of the swimmer development pathway, offering unique learning opportunities both in and out of the pool.
